AudioGO has just signed international bestselling thriller writer Karin Slaughter to an exclusive seven-figure deal for the audio rights to her next ten thrillers in North America via her representative Victoria Sanders at Victoria Sanders & Associates and Vikki Warner, Acquisitions Editor at AudioGO.
Slaughter and AudioGO (under its previous name BBC Audiobooks America) first worked together in 2008 on the audio adaptation of MARTIN MISUNDERSTOOD starring Wayne Knight of SEINFELD fame, which went on to win an Audie Award. Subsequent titles include her recent NEW YORK TIMES bestsellers CRIMINAL and FALLEN, and her short story collection THE UNREMARKABLE HEART AND OTHER STORIES.
Slaughter said, “I am very excited to be continuing my relationship with the AudioGO team and appreciate the huge commitment they are making to my work. They are superb at what they do, and I am continually impressed by them with each publication.”
“All of us at AudioGO are thrilled to embark on this decade-long exclusive audio publishing arrangement with Karin," added Warner. "Her genuine fondness for and support of the audiobook make her a dream to work with. We can’t wait to see where her next ten novels take us.”
Slaughter and AudioGO are also in discussions regarding additional ways in which to work together on new and exciting audio projects.
