DUNCAN Okla_ Duncan police are planning to reconstruct the scene of the car-on-pedestrian accident that killed a teen boy in order to better learn what happened.
Funeral services for 15-year-old Hunter Vaughn are scheduled for Monday January 14th at 1:30 p.m. at New Hope West Baptist Church in Duncan.
The teen died Tuesday morning in Oklahoma City after he and his mother, Kristeen Vaughn, were hit by a pickup as they were walking near 2nd and Main Street in Duncan Monday evening. Police continue to investigate the crash.
On Friday morning, a family member said Kristeen was still recovering at OU Medical Center. We're told Hunter's organs were donated following his death and they helped save five lives.
An account has been set up at Legacy Bank to help the family with funeral expenses. Donations can be made at any branch, including those in Duncan and Marlow. Just be sure to mention the "Hunter Vaughn Funeral Expense Account."
