LAWTON Okla_ Plans are in
the works this morning to beautify and repair bridges on I-44 leading into Lawton.
The plans
follow a Thursday night meeting where dozens of community members and city
workers talked about the projects. They spoke with a contractor to develop
ideas to improve the look of the I-44 corridor.
An engineer
with ODOT said artwork will be chosen for the bridges from a master plan of the
project. Officials say it will come at little to no additional cost to the
original plan for bridge repairs.
