Altus airmen recognized for support of Fort Sill mission

(Fort Sill)_ An Air Defense Artillery Brigade Commander has recognized crews at Altus Air Force Base for their support of a Fort Sill mission.

Altus AFB was the hub for a short-notice deployment of two Ft. Sill Patriot Missile Batteries to Turkey.  A total of 21 missions and more than 250 soldiers were loaded and deployed from Altus on just 18 days notice.

The 31st Air Defense Artillery Brigade Commander, Col. Michael Morrissey, recognized and awarded 35 Airmen and three civilians from the 97th Air Mobility Wing for the their hard work.
