Pampa United Way needs your help

Posted: Updated:

Pampa, Texas - Many people in an area community would be impacted if one goal isn't reached.

Pampa United Way provides many residents with food, shelter, and even health care.

But with one month to reach their annual goal, 18 partner agencies are reaching out to the community.

We spoke with a few organizations involved with Pampa United Way, one of them being the executive director for Casa of the High Plains.

She says they use donations to train volunteers.

Janet Watts with CASA of the High Plains says, "right now we are able to serve every child that comes into child care in Pampa. If we are not able to have enough volunteers to serve them, then we have to begin to decide which child can have a CASA volunteer and which child cannot."

Pampa United Way says they are ten percent away from their goal..

And they believe it's very possible to reach it because of the great community support.

If you would like to make a donation, give the Pampa United Way a call at 806-669-1001.
