Hollis Assistant Police Chief Arrested

Hollis, Okla._The assistant Police Chief in the Harmon County town of Hollis has been arrested on accusations that he sexually assaulted a Harmon County jail inmate.

The inmate claims Jayson Scott Vest removed her from her cell on Wednesday evening, apparently to ask her a question. She said that's when he sexually assaulted her before the two had sex.

Police arrested vest Thursday morning. He's being held in the Jackson County jail on a $250,000 bond.

Vest could face rape charges. He's expected to be arraigned on Tuesday.
