Lawton man arrested for 3rd degree arson

Lawton, Okla_A  Lawton man is now in the Comanche County Jail, accused of arson. Not for burning down a structure, but for burning up an abstract.

Police say Joseph Urango III got into an argument with his mother around 1 a.m. Monday morning.  Investigators say he got mad, and took  the house's abstract out into the front yard and burned it.

An abstract is a legal history of the house and can cost hundreds of dollars to replace.
