New trial date set for Noe Torres

Clovis, New Mexico -  A new trial date has been set for the suspected killer Noe Torres. The 9th Judicial District says the jury trial for Torres is set to begin on May 20th of this year.

Torres is suspected in the shooting death of 10 year old Carlos Perez at a Clovis apartment back in 2005.

Torres is being charged with 1st degree Murder, Attempted Murder, 2nd degree Murder (Conspiracy), among other charges.

Until 2012, Torres was a wanted fugitive and was captured in Mexico City and brought back to Clovis for prosecution.
