ELGIN Okla_ Thieves take off with thousands of dollars in copper over the weekend, and they're still on the loose.
Authorities said someone broke into a storage shed at the Dolese Brothers Rock Plant near Elgin. They were able to cut the door and the lock to the shed, where they stole 2 spools of insulated copper wire and one spool of non-insulated wire.
Both are worth about $12,000 to $15,000. Right now, the thieves are still out there and no one knows just how they were able to get into the plant.
