Lawton,Okla_The quest for Lawton's new City Manager continues. City of Lawton Human Resource Director Jim Russell confirmed that submissions and resumes are coming in for the position.
The city will continue taking submissions until February 8th. It is anticipated that by the February 12th city council meeting an item will be on the agenda for Russell to meet with the council privately in an executive session in order to give the results of the submissions and his recommendations for the next step.
It is still unknown at this time exactly how many submissions will be selected for interviews. Russell said that will all depend on the quality of the candidates.
