Amarillo, Texas - Local law enforcement officers are being recognized for their outstanding service.

Potter County Deputy Lieutenant Dee Aduddell and Randall County Deputy Chase Ralston were each honored with deputy of the year awards.

Lieutenant Aduddell has been the lead in several construction projects, and is known to be dedicated and willing to go the extra mile.

Animal control is Deputy Ralston's main assignment, but he has been personally responsible for taking over 89 grams of marijuana off the streets in Randall County.
