Altus church building hit by bullets

Posted: Updated:

Altus_While Saint John's Baptist Church in Altus was holding its Wednesday night service, a drive-by shooting happened right across the street.

Luckily no one was injured, but two stray bullets hit the building.

It happened around 6pm at West Martin Luther King Drive and South Benson Street.

Police say a gray Dodge Neon pulled up and the suspect inside began firing bullets at others who were in a park across the street. Those men fired back. Police are still investigating.
