Water main break ends class early at Ike Middle School

Lawton_A water main break near Eisenhower Middle School forced the school to cancel classes for the day Thursday. Students and school staff were sent home sometime after 10am.

Lawton Public Works officials say this was just the latest in a series of water main breaks throughout the city, including four happened on Thursday.

School officials expected class to resume as scheduled Friday.
