Jail escapee sentenced

Lawton, Okla_A Comanche County Detention Center inmate who briefly escaped custody last year, will spend an additional two years in jail.

Daniel Peek pleaded guilty in a Comanche County courtroom earlier this month, to charges of escaping arrest and possession of a stolen car and credit card.

Peek escaped from the jail last October, but was recaptured nine hours later.  Peek was also sentenced to three years in prison for another car theft in June of last year, so he will serve a total of five years in prison.
