Lawton, Okla._ A driver is in jail and police are searching for his passenger following a drive-by shooting Monday night in west Lawton.
Authorities say the bullet or bullets did not hit anything. We're told an officer spotted their pickup after hearing the shots fired near 63rd and Maple. After pulling it over, police determined the driver was not the shooter. They believe the gunman probably got out and ran away after firing the shots.
The driver was arrested for using the pickup in the drive-by and outstanding warrants.
