Blair Teen Critical After Falling Out Of Moving Vehicle

JACKSON CO., Okla_ A Blair teenager is in critical condition this afternoon after a bizarre accident in Jackson County late yesterday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 14-year-old David Weidner tried to hang out the window of his friend's pickup while they were driving on County Road 157, a quarter-mile west of Highway 283. Troopers said Weidner was sitting on the door when he lost balance and fell out of the pickup onto the road.

OHP said he injured his head and was carried by helicopter to OU Medical Center.

The Jackson County DA's office said they have ruled out foul play, and no charges are being filed against the driver.
