Posted: Updated:

Lawton,Okla_Continuing coverage on a brutal assault in SW Lawton last month.
Another man has been charged in the attack and is facing up to 20 years.

According to the affidavit, David Lee Jackson Sr. and his son David Lee Jackson Jr. attacked a family at their home located in the 600 block of SW Jefferson Ave.

The parents of the victim told police that Jackson Sr. pointed a shotgun at them and fired off a round. They say this was after his son attacked their son and another family member with a baseball bat. There's still no word on what sparked the fight.

Jackson Sr. has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and gun possession. Last month, Jackson Jr. was charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.
