DEVELOPING: Lawton's First Homicide Investigation of 2013

 

  • JANUARY 10, 2013 - Lawton police have found the car belonging to Sarah McCoy, the woman shot to death in her home on 19th Street and Hoover. Police said they found the car about 5 blocks from her home, and they have it at an impound lot. Sarah McCoy had been legally separated from her husband, Phillip McCoy, and had filed her third protective order against him. They have no suspects, no persons of interest and no signs of struggle. Police said they are not exempting anyone from being a suspect in the case.
