John Garibay sentenced for Friona Federal Credit Union robbery

Friona, Texas - A man found guilty of robbing a credit union in our area is sentenced in Federal Court.

22 year old John Michael Garibay of Friona was sentenced to 57 months in prison Friday morning in Amarillo.

Garibay robbed the Friona Federal Credit Union at gunpoint on August 27th of 2012.

He was found by investigators a short time later at a nearby trailer park with the handgun and money from the robbery.
