Amarillo city commission meeting

AMARILLO, TX - Amarillo City Commissioners will meet Tuesday to discuss several issues.

In that 5:30 meeting, commissioners are expected to approve a drainage study for the Martin Road area.

The study will provide recommendations on how best to reduce flooding in the area.

It will also include a construction cost estimate for such a project.

At Tuesday's meeting there will also be two presentations.

The first will be the 2012 crime statistics and the second will be the city of Amarillo economic update.
