COMANCHE CO., Okla_ Comanche County has figured out what caused a
four-hour-long power outage at the courthouse over the weekend.
Public Service Company
of Oklahoma
said a part of its underground system that feeds power to the courthouse and
jail blew out. Normally, the courthouse's
backup generator kicks in, but it didn't, and the building was forced to run on
partial power.
PSO said it has
fixed their end of the problem, but Central District Commissioner Johnny Owens
said the system is over 20 years old and needs to be updated. He's already
started the process.
Wednesday on 7News, find out what the problem areas are and how the
county wants to fix them.
