"Mercy For Animals" protest at Walmart

Posted: Updated:

Amarillo TX - Today Animal Activists will be protesting the treatment of pigs outside the Walmart on I-40 in Amarillo.

The activists from Mercy For Animals will be outside from 11a.m. to 12 noon.

With them will be a 10 foot tall inflatable pig, bloody with sores and locked in a narrow cage.

The activists will be wielding signs showing pictures of abused pictures.

They say Walmart uses pork suppliers that keep the animals under inhumane conditions.
