MARLOW, Okla._

A Marlow man was taken into custody following a six-hour long standoff that ended Saturday morning.

Marlow police were first called to a home in the 300 Block of North 8th Street around 11 p.m. Friday night after a man inside allegedly fired several shots from his home that later struck a neighbor's house.

Teams of officers, deputies and Highway patrolman surrounded the home after the man refused to surrender to police.

The six hour long standoff ended around five Saturday after over two dozen officers, from multiple agencies, were able to force the man out of his home.
