Press release from Gray County Sheriff's Office:

"At 2:40 p.m. the Pampa Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from an employee of a company dismantling building and components of the former Celanese Plant located on Highway 60 and F.M. 2300. The caller advised that a portion of a building had collapsed causing two workers to fall from approximately 40 feet. The Gray County Sheriff's Office, Pampa EMS, Pampa Fire Department and the Hoover Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene. One worker was transported to the Pampa Regional Medical Center by Pampa EMS. The other worker was trapped in debris from the collapse. A part of the building covering a conveyer chute that was still attached to the building made the area unsafe for rescue personnel. The scene was made safe at about 1735. Jesus J. Ramirez-Chavez, 44, of Pampa was pronounced dead at the scene."
