Oklahoma chamber officials to announce jobs agenda

Posted: Updated:

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Business advocates from across Oklahoma will be at the State Capitol to release their joint jobs agenda for the state.

The jobs plan is to be released Wednesday by a coalition of chambers of commerce from across the state during Economic Development Day at the Capitol. The agenda include 11 issues that the state's business community will pursue throughout the 2013 legislative session to help continue Oklahoma's pro-growth momentum.

Organizations that developed the jobs plan include the State Chamber of Oklahoma, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber and the Tulsa Regional Chamber.

On Tuesday, Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb and Oklahoma business leaders rolled out their legislative agenda for small businesses and manufacturers. Workforce development and sweeping changes to the state's workers' and unemployment compensation systems were among the top priorities.
