Lawton Woman Arrested for Drug Charges after being seen walking with a Burglary Suspect

Lawton,Okla_A late night walk with a burglary suspect lands a Lawton woman behind bars on drug charges. According to an affidavit, officers saw Leah Colbert walking with the suspect on southwest "E" Ave. Tuesday night.

Officers recognized the man as a suspect in a recent burglary. Investigators say when officers stopped them, Colbert threw a small baggy on the ground. When officers grabbed the baggy, they discovered it was meth.

Police arrested Colbert but her friend was released.  She is charged with drug possession and faces up to ten years in prison.
