Geo Inmate Beaten: Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries

Lawton, Okla._

Lawton police were called to investigate  the beating of a Lawton Geo Prison Inmate after police say he suffered life-threatening injuries.

According to a police report filed Friday, inmate Robert Day was critically injured last Saturday just before 11 p.m. after a physical altercation with inmate Randy Teets. 

Police said Day was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The details of the altercation and Day's condition were unknown.
