 LAWTON, Okla._

Lawton police are investigating a string of car burglaries that happened in the Thunderbird Bowling Alley parking lot on Cache Road.

Police say at least a half a dozen cars were broken into Friday night between the hours of 7:00 and 11:00 p.m.

Police say many of the cars were left unsecured but at least two were seriously damaged when a window was shattered and a door was pried open.

Police say the thief made off with GPS's, cell phones, cash, and wallets.

The business's surveillance video did capture the thief on video. He's described as a thin black male, wearing a baseball cap and long shorts.
