Amarillo, TX - Two people are in jail after police confiscate 60,000 dollars worth of drugs.

Officers made a traffic stop at 44th and South Austin Friday afternoon.

During a search of the vehicle they report finding 84 grams of black tar heroin hidden inside.

40-year old Heather Hodges and 38-year old Ryan Chandler were both charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were booked into the Randall County Jail.
