Lawton man accused of forcing an underage girl to have sex will stand trial

Lawton,Okla_A Lawton man accused of forcing an under aged girl to have sex with him will stand trial.  19 year-old Devin Rey Ramos appeared in a Comanche County courtroom and waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

Investigators say the mother of a 15 year-old girl told police her daughter claimed Ramos forced himself on her last October.

She said she refused his attempts, gave in and then refused again. That's when she said Ramos held her down and covered her mouth with his hands. Investigators say two weeks after the incident Ramos admitted to having sex with the girl and that he knew she was only fifteen years old.

He is scheduled to appear in court again next Thursday.
