Lawton convenience store robbed

Lawton- Police are now investigating two business robberies within just hours of each other late Wednesday and early Thursday.

The latest happened around 1 a.m. Thursday. A clerk at the EZ Go store at 24th and Cache Road tells police a black man with a gun took money from the register before leaving. LPD had no further details Thursday morning.

The robbery happened about 5 hours after a worker at a west Lawton pizza restaurant reported a robbery.
