Suspicious Fire at Vacant Lawton Home

LAWTON Okla_ Fire broke out in a house this morning in Lawton, even though no one was living there.

It happened just before 9:00 AM at 45th and "K". Firefighters say no utilities were turned on, but it looked as if someone had been staying there.

The fire started in the second-floor bedroom. Heavy smoke did a lot of damage, even up into the attic.

They haven't determined what caused it yet.
