OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Two Oklahoma utilities say
about 36,000 customers remain without power, mostly in the west and
northwest corners of the state hit hardest by a winter storm.
Oklahoma Gas and Electric had more than 33,000
customers without power Tuesday morning. Most of those - more than
21,000 - are in Enid, followed by Crescent with about 1,700.
The Public Service Company of Oklahoma reports
about 3,000 of its customers remain without power, mostly in counties
west of Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma residents and repair crews face more than a
foot of snow in some areas of the state's northwest quadrant with even
higher drifts following Monday's powerful winter storm.
