Amarillo man arrested for Civic Center break in

Amarillo, TX - An Amarillo man is behind bars after reportedly breaking into the Amarillo Civic Center.

Police say they arrested 33-year-old Christopher Beck early Wednesday morning. The suspect was seen by an officer inside the Civic Center before fleeing. Police later detained him outside.

Authorities tell us a forklift was used to burglarize a concession stand. Beck was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for burglary of a building.

Amarillo police are still investigating the incident.
