Sergeant Anthony Bray and Lieutenant Darrell Southerland were two of the officers who responded to the call of a woman threatening suicide. Laura Haskins' husband said his wife was a former army officer who was suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

These two officers were the ones who fired the less-lethal rounds or the live rounds from their shotguns. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation investigated and turned the case over to the Comanche County District Attorney.

D.A.Fred Smith has ruled that the officers did not do anything wrong, and they were justified in their actions.

The medical examiner says Haskins succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
