Jackson County_ A driver in Altus didn't want to stop for police Thursday night--so she didn't.
Police say they tried to stop Angela Marie Bearly of Olustee for reckless driving around 10:30pm.
She refused to stop--so they took off after her--with speeds reaching 100 miles an hour. Bearly finally slowed down once she neared the town of Duke, and that gave police the chance to perform a maneuver to stop her car.
They arrested Bearly on complaints of attempting to elude police, reckless driving and transporting an open container of liquor.
She has since bonded out of jail.
