Flower Mound VFD fundraiser Saturday

Comanche Co._The Flowermound Volunteer Fire Department  is getting ready for their annual barbeque fundraiser Saturday.

The money raised  helps the department serve and protect nearly 500 homes and businesses.
Firefighters say the event is where most of their yearly funding for the all-volunteer department comes from. The money is especially needed due to the dry conditions and potential for another active wildfire season.

The fundraiser will be held at the Flowermound School, at SE Bishop and Flowermound Road, from 11am til 7pm. Besides great barbeque, there will also be a raffle.

All they ask for is a donation.
