Driver arrested for DUI after hitting woman with pickup

Lawton- A suspected drunk driver is behind bars after hitting a woman with a pickup.
Lawton Police say the woman was running across Sheridan Road near E Avenue a little before 11:30 Sunday night. The pickup driver told police he did not see her because a van in the outside lane was blocking his view. We're told the woman was taken to Memorial hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers ended up arresting the pickup driver because they say he was driving under the influence.
