Disturbing the peace call ends in foot chase with police

Posted: Updated:

Lawton, Okla_A disturbing the peace call lands an irate man in jail, but not before taking a Lawton police officer on a short foot chase. The officer was called to a domestic dispute at a home in SE Lawton Sunday afternoon.

There he found David Perkins II yelling choice words and threatening to hit his      father-in-law with a boot. After several warnings, Perkins was arrested for the disturbance.  But it didn't end there.

When the officer removed the uncooperative suspect from the unit at the police station, Perkins asked where the cameras were and said "watch this" before taking off.  The officer tackled Perkins to the ground and with help from backup finally got him inside the jail to be booked.
