Lawton Man Faces Five Years for DUI After Accident

Posted: Updated:

LAWTON Okla_ A Lawton man is facing up to five years in prison stemming from an accident last Sunday, after which he was charged with DUI.

According to an affidavit, 41 year-old Michael Davis was driving the truck that hit a woman near the 600 block of SW Sheridan Road Sunday night.

Officers found Davis a few blocks away, and it was registered to Davis. Witnesses identified him as the driver of the truck.

When police approached him, they say he appeared to be intoxicated, and he failed a field sobriety test.

Police arrested Davis and he is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Court records show this is his 2nd DUI.
