Lawton,Okla_A Lawton man could spend 11 years in prison after a routine traffic stop ended in a drug arrest last month. Investigators say police stopped 27 year-old David Roberts near SW E. Ave and SW 17th for a broken tail light.

A criminal background check revealed Roberts' license had been suspended and that he had a warrant out for his arrest. Roberts admitted to police that he had some marijuana in his pocket. Police found almost 19 grams of pot in several baggies along with $40 in cash.

Police arrested Roberts on several charges including drug possession and driving under a suspended license.
