DISH Network alerting customers of potential scam

DISH Network is alerting its customers of a potential scam hitting our area.

They say people claiming to be DISH representatives have called customers in an attempt to collect money for special promotions or upgrades.

The callers often ask for credit card numbers or payments via Western Union or Green Dot.

DISH is reminding customers that the company will never call ask for such personal information.

If you receive any calls like this, you are asked to contact the company at 1-800-333-DISH.
