DUNCAN, Okla_The Duncan City Council voted Tuesday night to set a special election in May for a $9 million street project.  It would be paid for through an increase in property taxes. 

Mayor Gene Brown says there are 250 streets on the list, making it a city-wide project.  
The election is set for May 14th. The council also approved a four stage water restriction policy.  The city is not under restrictions now, but they took the action after monitoring the city's water usage and rainfall over the past six months.

    CACHE, Okla_ Tragically, some of the fatalities in Moore were children, young students who followed directions, but their school was not built to withstand the violence of the tornado. Now, local parents
