CYRIL Okla_ Four men face charges of attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Cyril Wednesday.

Caddo County Sheriff Gene Cain said the victim is 32-year-old Thomas Franklin. Franklin is in stable condition as of Thursday evening. The four men booked in connection with the shooting are 22-year-old Ray Jones of Lawton, 38-year-old Raymond Moor of Cyril, 29-year-old Dane Batchaddle of Fletcher, and 34-year-old Harry Bennett of Lawton.

Franklin was shot in the leg during an argument. The four men took off after the shooting, but authorities found them in Apache shortly after the incident.

A nearby school in Apache went on lockdown as a precaution. Cain said the suspects are expected to make their first appearances in court Friday.
