An endangered teenage girl missing from Amarillo has been found.

The Amarillo Police Department says 15-year-old Alicia "Lele" Velasquez was located Friday afternoon in the town of Kennesaw, Georgia.

Police say she was found with a male suspect in his 20's, and has been placed in protective custody.

Kennesaw police are working to determine if any crimes were committed.

Investigators say she was able to be located in part because of the amount of social media attention brought to the case.
