Burglars hit Altus businesses

Posted: Updated:

Altus, Okla._Burglars hit two Altus businesses in the early morning hours on Friday, and now police need your help to find the suspects.

The first incident happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Altus Motorsports on east Broadway. The thieves busted out a front window to get in, but no word on what items were taken.

Over an hour later, at 4:51 a.m. a witness reported seeing suspicious people in front of Action Pawn on south Main Street. The glass in the front of that building was also broken. Several electronic items were taken.

Surveillance video from that business shows the two robbers getting out of a dark colored pickup truck before throwing bricks through the window. They left the scene heading west on Pecan Street.

If you have any information on these burglaries call Altus crimestoppers at 580-482-TIPS. You could be eligible for a cash reward.
