Oklahoma, Oklahoma State return to NCAA Tournament

The Cowboys will make their 25th appearance in the Big dance, and their first since 2010 as a five-seed in the Midwest Region.

OSU will face off with twelfth-seeded Oregon for just the second time in program history. That game will take place in San Jose Thursday March 21 at 3:40 p.m. The winner of that game will face the winner of the St. Louis-New Mexico State match up for a spot in the "Sweet 16."

When the Sooners name was called, Lon Kruger became the first head coach in Division 1 history to guide five programs to the NCAA Tournament. Oklahoma will make its first tournament appearance in four years, their 23rd overall.

OU landed itself a 10-seed and will battle seventh-seeded San Diego State in their opening match up of the South Region. That game will be played in Philadelphia Friday March 22 at 8:20 p.m. The winner of that game will face either Georgetown or Florida Gulf Coast in the third round.
