COMANCHE CO., Okla_ Some big
changes are coming to Comanche
County's website. You'll
soon be able to take a virtual tour.
The Comanche County
Commissioners approved the new video for the website Monday. The tour will give
visitors a chance to view seven one-minute segments of various aspects of
county life, including education, real estate and quality of life.
Public
Information Officer Jacob Russell said it took about a year to complete the
project. He said the county will be able to add new video to the tour once
every four months, allowing visitors to catch an in-depth glimpse of life in Comanche County.
"It gives
an opportunity for both residents and those coming into the county to kind of
see the good side we have to offer," Russell said. "So, it's just the
other side of the coin. It will show the other side and point out the
highlights that we do have to offer."
Russell said
the tour doesn't cost the county a dime. He said CGI Communications, the
company that produced the video, will make money off of advertisements on the
site.
The tour should
be ready for viewing by the end of this week. You'll be able to find the tour
on Comanche County's website www.comanchecounty.us.
