Raid on a suspected meth lab

Posted: Updated:

Lawton, Okla_A raid on a suspected meth lab in Lawton led to a neighborhood street being blocked off for a few hours. The Lawton Police Department would not release details of the operation.

But, the Special Ops team, dressed in hazmat suits,  brought dozens of containers and bags outside out of the house and into the yard while a 1-block section of  NW Baldwin Av3 between 19th and 20th St. was closed to traffic.

Neighbors told us they thought the person living at the house may have been involved in some illegal activity, but never thought it would be something of this scale.  We expect to get more information from police Wednesday.
