A second arrest has been made in drug bust during a routine traffic stop

Lawton,Okla_A second man has been charged in last week's drug bust during a routine traffic stop in Lawton. Joseph Phelps, the same suspect arrested for having a meth lab in his home last week. 

Court records show that an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper stopped Phelps for failing to signal on Cache Rd. last Monday night. The trooper said Phelps and his passenger  appeared to be nervous.

During a search, the trooper found a shotgun and ingredients to make meth. The trooper also found out the truck was stolen.  Phelps is facing up to life in prison for possession of items used to make meth.He's already been charged with attempted manufacture of meth  from the bust at his home last week.  

Phelps' passenger, Michael Price, was charged with possession of items used to make meth in the traffic stop.
